Theme Song Tryouts (1)

I posted a couple of days ago about my need to find a new theme song … because, you know, things are a-changing.

I need to come up with a new theme song. So, while I wait for the last chicken to hatch, I’m going to be trotting out a few ideas.

Today, is the first candidate.

And, yes, I’m kind of joking about this song, but it’s just so incredible and wonderful and classic and makes me laugh whenever I hear it as I wallow through Meatloaf’s Bat Out of Hell II. So, here you go … candidate #1 for my new theme song.

Let me know what you think. Also, out of curiosity … what’s your theme song?

I’m withholding judgment as its suitability for your theme song until I hear other candidates.

This Lovecraft/Billy Joel mashup, I think, would be mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKKTqB_Lzv0

    Well that’s an interesting “song”…
    Like Bert, I shall wait…

I need to figure out mine. I honestly wouldn’t know which to choose.

In my defense, it was meant as a joke.

I honestly don’t know what comes after The Pretender. Hence my search.

        I know. You said…

        It has me thinking, though…

It’s like picking a word for the year. What do you want to say about yourself?

I know. Another thing I’ve never done.
Good question. What do I want to say about myself? Shall ponder more.

I followed a blogger who was big on the word for the year concept. (I still follow her, but she hasn’t done the word of the year thing for the last year or two, I think.) Anyway, I liked the idea and one year I selected the word GRACE. It’s been a few years since I did that, but that word still motivates and mystifies me.

There are a few bloggers I follow who choose a word for the year. Intrigued, yet I’ve not done so for myself yet.
Grace is one of those words that really makes you stop and think. Well it makes me stop and think because for so long I heard it in only one context.
